
Studs, directed by Peter Foster, was the LTC's entry into the 2008 Wakefield Festival. Though not the winning entry, Studs was placed in third place, thus maintaining the LTC's excellent top three placing record.
Simon Reece and Andy Wild were nominated for the award for best actor, Chloe Fairman and Sally Moxon were nominated for the role of best actress with Peter Foster being one of the only two directors from the seven shows to be nominated for best director.

Reflecting on 2006 which was also a successful festival for the Lamproom. April in Paris was selected by Mike Kaiser, the adjudicator, as the best play in the festival.
In addition Peter Foster collected the best director award and Richard Caille, as Al, won the award for best actor.
Mary Creasey was nominated best actress, but lost the award by, as Mike Kaiser explained, the narrowest of margins. Success indeed and congratulations to all involved.

Kes gained the third place award and Matthew Weigold was nominated for best actor with Jonathon Cannon and Peter Foster being nominated for best supporting actor.
